International Peace Day: Forum on the Geneva Talks .. Women’s Voices at the Table
On September 19, Kampala hosted a forum dedicated to the Geneva peace talks, the impact of war, and the prospects for Sudan. Activists and leaders, including Tariq Muhaisi and Abdul Majeed Saleh,
reflected on the April war and future opportunities. Rawya Kamal, a member of the women’s delegation to Geneva, shared her experience and underscored one truth: sustainable peace in Sudan can only come through dialogue and negotiations, not weapons.
