“The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign is a critical moment to stand against the violence that millions of women and girls endure every day. Gender-based violence is a violation of human dignity, a barrier to equality, and a threat to the progress of society as a whole.

During this campaign, we call on governments, communities, and institutions to take decisive action: enforce strong laws, provide accessible support and services for survivors, challenge harmful cultural norms, and promote awareness of women’s rights.

Every survivor deserves justice, protection, and the opportunity to rebuild her life. Together, through solidarity, education, and empowerment, we can create a world where women and girls live free from fear, violence, and discrimination.”
