Eid has arrived .. but the joy is incomplete .. and Sudan is overwhelmed with sorrow .. Our people are displaced, our children are hungry .. and our mothers’ eyes are filled with tears .. Homes have been destroyed, loved ones have been lost, and our homeland is torn apart before our very eyes every day ..
Eid is not just about celebrations-it is about hearts reconciling people coming together, and hands reaching out to one another in kindness and love ..
Sudan needs us all. We must restore our humanity .. revive the love between us .. and rekindle our sense of compassion for one another .. We must not let war divide us, nor allow hatred to take root in our hearts .. Let us make this Eid a new beginning .. working together for a nation that embraces everyone .. a nation filled with peace, prosperity .. and people who love one another ..
On this occasion, the Nubian Center for Peace and Democracy reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the values of peace, justice, and peaceful coexistence .. and calls upon all Sudanese to reconcile, show mercy, and uphold the voice of reason and love above the sounds of war and hatred.
Let this Eid mark the beginning of a new Sudan .. where bridges are built instead of barricades .. where human rights are respected, and where justice and equality prevail.
Blessed Eid Al-Fitr. May Allah bring peace, security, and stability to Sudan ..
