The Nubian Center for Peace and Democracy (NCPD) welcomes the report of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Sudan, presented to the 60th session of the Human Rights Council. The Center describes the report as a historic and courageous documentation of atrocities committed against civilians, including mass killings, sexual violence, forced displacement, and the deliberate targeting of essential civilian infrastructure.
The NCPD affirms its full support for the Mission, endorses its recommendations, and urges the international community to act decisively to protect civilians, impose a comprehensive arms embargo, and ensure accountability through the International Criminal Court.
