Project Co-Creation using a guided writing skills methodology
4th-5th Novembre 2024. First batch.

A capacity-building workshop for youth was launched at the AFORD headquarters, organized by the Nubian Center for Peace and Democracy in partnership with the African Organization for Rights and Development. The two-day workshop, attended by 30 young men and women, focused on equipping participants with practical skills to engage in project creation using the Directed Writing Skills Methodology.

The first day introduced participants to the Logical Framework Approach and Project Cycle Management, providing essential tools for planning and managing projects effectively. The second day focused on project budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and preparing progress reports, giving participants a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle from inception to completion.

Participants said the workshop represented a qualitative leap for them. “It provided us with the tools we need to turn our ideas into real projects and showed us the importance of cooperation, planning, and evaluation,” they noted. They also praised the organization and professionalism of the workshop, describing it as a vital platform for empowering the next generation of Sudanese leaders.

Through this initiative, the Nubian Center for Peace and Democracy continues to invest in youth leadership, innovation, and civic engagement, fostering a new wave of skilled, motivated young leaders ready to make a positive impact in Sudan and beyond.
